It all begins with an idea…
I’m Abigail Vettese, a multidisciplinary designer and creative working at the intersection of instructional design, ethics, and multimedia storytelling. My professional focus is building engaging eLearning solutions that combine clean design, interactivity, and ethical inquiry. My work has earned multiple awards, including recognition for Best Learning Solution, Best Prototype, Best Visual Design, and Best Written Proposal.
I am completing my MS in Instructional Design and Technology at Commonwealth University, where I’ve focused on scenario-based learning, accessible design, and emerging tech. My undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Environmental Science continue to shape the way I approach questions regarding technology, agency, and ethics in both my design and creative practices.
Beyond instructional design, I am engaged in a number of passion projects that have helped me build both multimedia skills and a strong understanding of experiential aesthetics:
The Shape of Sanctum: my ongoing music project exploring immersive soundscapes and electronic production.
Good Gloom: YouTube channel with 3.5k+ subscribers where I share explorations in creativity, technology, ethics, and aesthetics.
Illustration: from botanical studies to modern editorial illustration featured in Philosophy Now and Springer.
I approach design with curiosity, experimentation, and innovation. These creative extensions aren’t separate hobbies — they directly strengthen my instructional design practice by deepening my skills in storytelling, aesthetics, and multimedia production.
